An excellent and exciting opportunity has opened in our head office in Surrey for an HR and Business Administrator. This is a new role where you will be assisting and learning different areas of the business from logistics and operations with a focus on HR.

The successful candidate will undertake the CIPD Level 3 in Human Resources apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ Business Administration apprenticeship. This is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and wants to get stuck into every area of a business. 

What will you be doing:

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
  • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
  • Assist in the recruitment process
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies
  • Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
  • Drafting letters, internal announcements and sending out internal correspondence 
  • Pension administration 
  • Payroll administration 
  • Maintenance of employee records 
  • Answering phone calls, taking messages and connecting calls to proper departments
  • Arrange meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times and booking rooms
  • Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
  • Assists in planning and arranging events
  • Maintain stock lists and orders office supplies as needed
  • Interact with directors and carry out their requests
  • Create agendas and takes meeting notes
  • Liaise with our Landlord and other external providers to arrange relevant visits when required
  • Arranging in house and virtual training for employees
  • Day to day administration of our client’s orders and requests.
  • Sales Order processing from various sources (E-mail, Phone and Various EDI systems)
  • Acknowledge / Action all emails in agreed time frame
  • Maintaining and updating the customer profile database with specific customer delivery requirements
  • Assist in investigating queries and delivery issues and report back findings in a clear, concise manner
  • Handle the data administration of inbound stock
  • Provide cover and assist where necessary
