Combined satellite connection
Nextbase Series 2 Dash Cams (222G and up) use two satellites systems combined — the GPS satellite and the Russian (GLONAS) system — to give the most accurate and reliable GPS fix.
Data reading
The new Nextbase Series 2 Dash Cams refresh at 10HZ, which means that every second, the Dash Cam captures 10 data readings. This ensures that the trace shown on Google Maps is accurate and smooth.
This high refresh rate allows the GPS system to capture very accurate speed and acceleration data, which is shown in MyNextbase Player and can be critical in the event of an incident.
Hotstart
Another first for the new Series 2 range, GPS Hotstart is built into every Series 2 GPS model, allowing the Dash Cam to remember the last satellite positions for up to two hours.
