Super Slow Motion is an upgrade on our previous Dash Cams ability to play in slow motion. Now you can view your 622GW footage in Super Slow Motion at 1080p and 120fps. This feature is ideal to help identify what happens in an incident and capture details such as number plates, vital for proving fault.
Enhanced Night Vision
Major improvements in both the sensor of the 622GW and software developments ensure it records all the critical details, even on the darkest roads. The new sensor used in the 622GW has larger pixels, allowing more light into each one, plus the camera automatically detects light levels and enhances the image as its being recorded.
Extreme Weather Mode
Fog is a major cause of road traffic incidents in the UK and the ability to “see through fog” could prove vital in identifying vehicles and number plates where you wouldn’t be able to without this feature. Whether you are involved in or witness an incident in misty conditions this is the only Dash Cam which will use its inbuilt algorithms to provide the clearest image.
Intelligent Parking Mode
Intelligent Parking Mode automatically records any bump or physical movement on the vehicle when left unattended.

Installing the Dash Cam in Your CarFAQs
We highly recommend using a Nextbase branded microSD card with our Dash Cams. These have been built and tested specifically for use with our Dash Cams. For the 622GW, we recommend using a 32GB U3 card. If connecting to a Rear Cam Module, we advise using a 64GB U3 or 128GB U3 card for best results.
16GB U1 micro SD card – This will record up to 2 hours of footage before looping on a Nextbase Dash Cam. It is compatible with the 122 and 222 models. Note, this should not be used with a Rear Cam Module.
32GB U3 micro SD card – This will record up to 4 hours of footage before looping on a Nextbase Dash Cam, or up to 2 hours if using a Rear Cam Module. It is compatible with all Nextbase Dash Cams.
64GB U3 micro SD card - This will record up to 8 hours of footage before looping on a Nextbase Dash Cam, or up to 4 hours if using a Rear Cam Module. It is compatible with all Nextbase Dash Cams.
128GB U3 micro SD card - This will record up to 16 hours of footage before looping on a Nextbase Dash Cam, or up to 8 hours if using a Rear Cam Module. It is compatible with all Nextbase Dash Cams.
Yes, you can use any one of three optional Rear Cam Modules, the Nextbase Rear Window Camera, Rear View Camera or Cabin View Camera. When connected to the 622GW, front-facing footage will continue to record in 4K, with the Rear cam recording in full HD. The Nextbase Rear Cam Modules are compatible with the following Dash Cams: Nextbase 322GW, 422GW, 522GW and 622GW.
Yes, all our Series 2 range has inbuilt Intelligent Parking Mode. This will automatically record any bump or physical movement on the vehicle when left unattended. This setting can be turned on via the menu settings for all Series 2 Dash Cams.
Yes, any Dash Cam with GW, has Wi-Fi, meaning you can download footage to your smartphone to view, edit and share using the new MyNextbase Connect app. This is available for free download via Google Play Store (requires Android 5.1 and up) and Apple App Store (requires 12.1 or later). This is compatible with the following Dash Cams: 322GW, 422GW, 522GW and 622GW.
