Nextbase Emergency SOS can alert the emergency services

Nextbase Emergency SOS

Emergency SOS

In the event of an incident where the driver is unresponsive, Nextbase Emergency SOS can alert the emergency services of the vehicle’s location and other details. This ensures that emergency services can respond quickly without relying on other road users — crucial on rural or quiet roads.

Master Process

The emergency alert that is sent to the integrator and emergency services includes your vehicle’s GPS location and heading as standard, but also other personal details, such as the driver’s medical history, blood type, and allergies.

Subscription to Emergency SOS

Why is it useful?

The MyNextbase Emergency SOS service is designed to alert emergency services in accidents where the driver is unable to do so. Emergency SOS will not alert emergency services of all accidents — for example, low-speed accidents, or when the driver cancels the alert because they are not incapacitated following the accident.

Cancel Alert

Users must immediately cancel the automatic alert process if they are not incapacitated following an accident, or if emergency services are not required. The user can stop or override the automatic alert process any time prior to emergency services being notified of the accident.

The MyNextbase Emergency SOS service is not a guaranteed service. For example, service may be affected or unavailable if a mobile device and/or Dash Cam is damaged in an accident.
